The ideal candidate will Siebel, SQL, DBA skills.* * * * * *DESCRIPTION*: We seek an experienced systems professional as part of the development team within the MIS organization. This role will necessitate good knowledge of Siebel, networking, system performance, tuning, SQL Server tools and its ancillary applications. Apart from database administration this position would also involve problem analysis and documentation of the solutions. *RESPONSBILITIES*: - Very Strong SQL knowledge. - Setup and configure MS SQL database for CRM and trouble free running of the application. - Interpreting Indexes, effect of indexes on the performance of the system, review query optimization, process design and performance tuning. - Writing DTS packages and interpreting SQL queries, especially DDL statements and SQL's required for administering the system. - Execute scripts for data conversions, data modifications, schema changes, and data model changes. - Define, plan and execute data retention, backup, and recovery. - Daily maintenance of database infrastructure (checking logs, etc.). - Troubleshoot data related database or network issues. - Maintain/update all appropriate documentation. - General system administration (Windows XP) - Perform database tuning and performance improvements. - Working Knowledge of Networking administration - Maintain multiple environments from Development, Test, UAT and Production * * *REQUIREMENTS:* The Individual must be highly self-motivated, inquisitive, with a proven track record of achieving goals, delivering highest standards of quality and meeting milestones with an ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
