Including creating/generating new members in each library upon request from Application Developers. · Monitor IMS transaction response times using IMS utilities. Monitor IMS online application regions. Understand IMS OLDS datasets (specifically ‘01’ records). · Knowledge of IMS operator commands. (/DIS, /STO, /STA, /DBR etc) Assist Application Developers in debugging IMS online application errors. · Monitor CICS transaction performance using Candle OMEGAMON product. · Be familiar with JCL. Understand IMS region JCL and Process. · Determine necessary changes to PC printer(s) to enable them to print Mainframe applications output.
