Job Description: • Oracle 11.g Data Warehouse • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 o ETL Created using Oracle PL/SQL scripts (SSIS used as a shell to call the Oracle PL/SQL scripts) o SSAS Data Cubes (Data Marts) o SSRS reporting o SharePoint 2010 user report access o Excel Services integrated with SharePoint 2010 o Reporting Services integrated with SharePoint 2010 • This new Data Warehouse Developer will be moving data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Database to our Oracle Data Warehouse. Percepta does not need a DW Architect or designer as our core Data Warehouse solution is in place in Production. We do need a person that will delivers most of the CRM Business Intelligence solution and they will be expected to: • Analyze the MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 Data Base and the Data Warehouse Data Model and design the ETL programs to populate the Oracle DW tables. • Review the DW Data Model (Erwin) and the new CRM tables within the Data Warehouse. • Physical Oracle DW Database design (staging, DW, Data Marts). Working with our Data Modeler and DBA’s. • Perform source to target analysis and ETL process design • Use SSIS to create ETL programs to extract data from MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 and populate the Oracle DW tables • Use SSIS to create SSAS Data Cubes and then load data from the Oracle DW Tables • Use ETL programs to load several years of CRM history from MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 into the DW and Data Cubes and then reuse for ongoing daily incremental loads *Additional Job Info: * Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 5 Years Data warehousing experience, PL/SQL Development, SSIS Interview Info (date, time, process, interviewers) : Will interview candidates within 24 hours of submittal Work Environment (culture, deadline intensive, flexible hours, dress code) : Will be working with 3 people here locally, also with remote employees in Toronto Business Challenge Client is Tasked with Solving : Percepta AND HP recently won a joint project for Ford Motors. They are tasked with developing a new data feed from Microsoft dynamics crm into an oracle data warehouse so Ford can properly extract all the data from one place. Without this developer they could lose the project with Ford. Who is the Internal/External Customer? (i.e., end-user or end-client) : Ford Motors Impact to the Internal/External Customer?
