Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 10+ years
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Description:
· Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual
contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications
and/or application initiatives.
· Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools,
and existing designs.
· Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations
or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans,
performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform
designs, coding, and testing.
· Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis
efforts.
· Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the
program development, testing, and implementation process.
Must have 10-15 years experience working with object oriented language such
as
*SMALLTALK LANGUAGE, VISUAL WORKS *.
Must have a related experience in Visual Works, Web servicing, and Object
Studio 8.2 or beyond.
5+ years in industry experience in software development .
Must be a team-player with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative
environment.
Ability and experience multi-tasking and working effectively under pressure
.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills . Experience with
advance SQL Server . Comprehensive understanding of Proficient in
performance monitoring, tuning and capacity planning . Ability to translate
business requirements into technical requirements . Must be able to
interface with architects, infrastructure groups and Line of Business
project technical staff Preferred Skills: . Should have a desire to learn
about emerging technologies and their relation to the deployment of future
development . Familiarity with Credit Card Processing . Some middleware
(Sybase Open Client, J-connect) all desirable . Knowledge of Wells Fargo
Release Management schedules, security policy and standards . Good
understanding and/or ability to research and recommend system tools and
processes, as required to support the application I am looking for a
proficient Object Studio Smalltalk developer. Prefer that they have
previous background with Wells Fargo
