Our DMA solutions provide actionable insights into revenue and profitability, customer behavior, supply chain performance and after-market services performance. * * *Job Summary* Deloitte Managed Analytics has a new contract to perm position for a *Performance DBA*. As part of the IT team, the Performance DBA will manage and maintain DMA’s technical infrastructure and ensure optimal performance of DMA’s SaaS Business Intelligence solutions for the best possible customer experience. * * *Responsibilities* - Manage infrastructure setup, maintenance, tuning, database replication, etc… - Manage SQL server configuration settings and hardware settings - Monitor, evaluate, and provide solutions to address poorly performing customer queries and data loading processes - Utilize performance monitoring tools to anticipate and proactively resolve customer site performance issues and to plan for future growth and resource requirements - Perform SQL Server performance tuning - Setup, monitor, and manage database backups - Formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management - Monitor and manage nightly data processing jobs - Support our existing customer install base by resolving database and performance related issues *Required Skills* - 5 - 7 years’ experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) - Must have strong SQL Server Database Administrator skills, supporting production and mission critical environments - Must have strong performance analysis and performance tuning skills (SQL Query tuning) - Ability to write complex SQL queries, to read and understand complex SQL queries, and to utilize other SQL artifacts (such as Stored Procedures and Views) - Excellent oral and written communication skills *Preferred Skills* - Experience working with business intelligence, data warehouse, and/or large database application systems (SAP, Oracle, or BusinessObjects technologies) -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
