SAP Basis Resource requirement in Central Pennsylvania
Start Date: 02/13/2012
Period: 12 Months
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
Type: Contract or Direct Hire
Billing Rate: $55-58/hr on c2c basis
Job Description
The client has embarked on an Financial enhancement project and will be starting to
perform dual maintenance of the BAU Test/Dev environment with the project Test/Dev
environment. The resource will be required to coordinate the changes to the insure that
the "new system" environments can take over as the production systems at
go-live.
Job Duties
· Monitor all changes going into all environments
· Disposition changes
· Changes which need to go into both the "old system" and "new system"
environments.
· Changes requiring modifications to fit into the "new system"
· Changes not requiring modifications
· Changes which need to only go into the "old system" environment.
· Changes being made in the "new system" which need to also be done in the
"old system" during the dual maintenance period.
· Conduct daily change meetings
· Coordinate changes with "new system" testing cycles (ie Freeze Periods)
Job Skills
· SAP architecture - especially transport migration
· Experience in participating in upgrades of complex SAP Environments is
required
· LiveCompare

· MS Access
· Excel
· Organization skills
· Analytical skills
· People skills
Relocation is preferred but if required T&E will be extra and provided to the
consultant
