Ensure cross browser compliance in regards to functionality and layout supporting especially screen sizes and browsers on mobile clients. Apply modern HTMLT5/CSS3 technologies to provide very rich and intuitive solutions. Work closely together with IT peers and management to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Develop and maintain rich and attractive client side UI controls that provide excellent usability, performance and cross browser compatibility using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 that is always compatible with mobile browsers. 2. Create and maintain a control library that can be easily reused throughout all existing and future applications. 3. Drive HTML5/CSS development by providing technical solutions that provide high usability and attractive design. 4. Maintain and extend existing internet and intranet web sites as needed and refine usability and design. 5. Independently execute work in accordance to prioritization agreed with supervisor and/or management. 6. Collaborate with offshore developers as needed. 7. Test Web applications unit and system, engaging users as necessary and reporting results. 8. Troubleshoot to resolve web development issues in accordance with IT standards, including understanding information hierarchy. 9. Participate in planning sessions with the project team to analyze business requirements. 10. Understand business requirements in order to evaluate and suggest website solutions, including developing and managing detailed work plans and projects as necessary; collaborate with business owners to research, identify and deliver solutions. 11. Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices; actively contribute in team meetings and activities as appropriate. 12. Perform other related duties as assigned. *MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (The following qualifications can be acquired and demonstrated through experience, education and/or vocational training as noted or as appropriate.)* 1. Work Experience/Education: Four (4) years of related hands-on experience designing, deploying enterprise web-based solutions, with the focus on rich JavaScript, HTML(5), CSS(3) controls and technologies. Experience designing rich HTML5 solutions especially for mobile devices is a very strong plus. A minimum of two (2) years experience working on agile/lean software development projects (inception to implementation) including a strong working knowledge of web architecture and concepts. Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology or related, etc.; Master Degree in Information Technology preferred, or related technical skills; 2. *Technical skills:* advanced skills adapting and implementing rich JavaScript UI controls and provision of control libraries for easy deployment and reusability. Good working knowledge in designing, deploying enterprise level, web-based solutions. Advanced layouts using HTML(5), CSS(3) and good skills in graphics design using Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver. Experience in mobile web development. Good knowledge of existing controls and solutions and capability to use and adapt third party controls*;* 3. *Reasoning and Analytical skills:* ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to synthesize complex diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data; design work flows and procedures; 4. Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent; ability to create and use sophisticated financial modeling; 5.
