Experience Required The Senior Data Architect - Data Warehouse provides technical leadership in the design
and implementation of software applications, databases, data models and relational database structures within a data
warehousing environment. The Senior Data Architect is a high level delivery resource for top tier clients and complex
industry leading projects. To be successful in this role, the Senior Data Architect will demonstrate experience with
navigating large enterprise environments, presentations, documentation, and consulting service delivery skills. A data
architect is a person responsible for ensuring that the data assets of an organization are supported by an architecture
supporting the organization in achieving its strategic goals. The architecture should cover HYPERLINK
"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Database"; \o "Database" databases, HYPERLINK
"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_integration"; \o "Data integration" data integration and the
means to get to the data. Usually the data architect achieves his/her goals via setting enterprise data standards
Roles & Responsibilities : Required
· Minimum 10 years industry experience
· Minimum 3 years prior consulting experience
· Minimum 3 years data architecture experience
· Minimum 2 years experience in data warehouse architecture
· Designs Data Architectures.
· Designs and builds relational databases.
· Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and
implementation of a database.
· Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data.
· Usually requires a degree in an appropriate area and at least 5 years
of experience in a related area.
· Be able to design and develop Databases, Data Warehouses and
Multidimensional Databases.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· May lead and direct the work of others.
· Ability to work with business and technical resources at multiple
levels within the client organization
· Exposure to Retail and Pharmacy sector is preferred.
· Makes use of software methodologies and appropriate tools to design and
implement relational data structures.
· Makes use of software tools to design software application modules and
interaction between modules to process data in an accurate and efficient manner.
· Performs data modeling studies and develops detailed data models.
Generic Managerial Skills : Good Leadership capability, Excellent
Analytical Skills, Ability to work under pressure, Good communication skills.
Education Bachelor degree in business management, computer
science or related Field. Master degree preferred.
