Experience: 6-7 yrs Must have Skills: · Silverlight 4.0 · VB.NET Job responsibilities: 1. Design, development and QA of .Net / Silverlight 4.0 based application 2. New development, enhancements as well as 2nd level support as needed 3. Be independent, should be able to get the knowledge transferred by working closely with customer teams and onshore team 4. Strong technical hands-on skills, good analytical and problem solving abilities Expected technical skills: 1. Experience of creating Silverlight UI in XAML 2. Proficiency in Silver Light 4.0/3.0, C#(4.0/3.0/2.0), VB.NET and AJAX Extensions with MS SQL Server and / or Oracle 10g / 9i database 3. Good exposure to MSSQL / Oracle, should have experience in writing basic PL / SQL 4. Know-how of IIS and Crystal Report 5. Familiarity with XML Web Services (SOAP, WSDL and UDDI), Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] concepts using .NET Framework would be nice to have 6. Experience of working with PRISM and MVVM design patterns for Silverlight and WPF would be an added advantage Soft skills: 1. Excellent communication skills - verbal, written 2. Excellent analytical and logical skills, problem solving capabilities 3. Self motivated, self managed individual 4.
