Business Analyst with E-Commerce Experience Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 8 months contract (with possibility of extension up to 18 months) Position Description: Experience Level: 7-10 years tech experience with at least 4 yrs e-business focus Description: Acts as liaison between client area, technical organization, and other affected areas by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through strategic eCommerce-based solutions (e.g., Intranet and Internet). Responsible for producing business requirements. Functions as project manager for large and complex projects. Develops project plans and schedules, including budgets. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes and recommending new e-commerce solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities. May work directly with senior management and is considered a high-level expert. Join a fast paced development team that is quickly adding new features to its business payroll web application. In the E-Business Systems Consultant role this person will act as a liaison between the business and the development team by leading the analysis and design, documenting highly complex business payroll application features, creating web page designs and wireframes. This person will need to create designs that take into account web usability, ADA accessibility and the general customer (CX) experience for the features being delivered. Required: * A proven ability to be hands-on to quickly learn the existing application and business domain. * The ability to recommend web designs and solutions that meet business requirements. * 3+ years Web styling and design experience including developing of HTML Wireframes, CSS, usage of some wireframe software. * Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility best practices. * Proven ability to quickly grasp complex technology and business requirements. * Some experience with project management and technical team leadership. * Demonstrated strong communication and technical design documentation skills required. US Citizen, EAD or Green Card Desired but not required: * Payroll background highly desired. * Knowledge of iRise Prototyping, client software development, and SQL a plus.
