*Location: Plano TX* *Duration: 4+ Months* *Senior Network Architect* - The *Sr. Network Architecture* will be the lead for all *Voice, Data, and Wireless networking hardware* and *software*in *Pizza Hut restaurants*. Responsible for the 3 year *strategic Voice, Data, and Wireless network vision AND for defining infrastructure network technology* best practices. Manage restaurant network providers’ day-to-day performance to ensure Service Levels are met or exceed. Responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing technical personnel across many teams. Provide leadership and coordination as well as in-depth technical guidance for Pizza Hut projects and strategies. Provides technical guidance for all networking environments, across Pizza Hut system-wide for positive business impact. - Responsible for providing strategic direction and vision of restaurant *Voice, Data*, and *Wireless networks infrastructure*, including review and assessment of emerging technologies. *Actively participate in creation of rolling 3-year strategy and roadmaps to ensure quality execution to achieve strategic targets * - Communicate strategies in business terms to senior leadership, peer teams, and franchise organizations - Develop strategy and supporting business cases for new technologies to communicate business benefits to senior management. - Provide overall leadership across Pizza Hut for networking guidance. This includes defining criteria matrix and standards to be utilized by Pizza Hut IT to enable and develop common policies. - Provide infrastructure aspect of technical input into all significant projects and technologies to ensure alignment with strategic direction. - Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products. - Provides Level 3/4 (advanced) technical system expertise; Oversight and accountability for resolution of restaurant network outages, service level issues, and user support needs in coordination with network provider Operations Support Center(s) - Lead the Network and Telecom team overseeing restaurant *Voice/Data/Wireless network implementation and support* - Display a high degree of proficiency in project management techniques, including time estimates, resource allocations, project status updates and managing critical path and milestone deadlines. - Participate in project charter meetings related to the network discipline to provide successful project implementation. - Provide leadership for of escalation for complex cross functional issues to ensure reduced system downtime. - Define and implement process improvements and procedural changes for preventative maintenance. - Demonstrate high level of Pizza Hut business knowledge, including cross business unit integration, cross functional integration, develop business partnership and technical consultation with franchise organizations, and support the function strategic and AOP objectives. - Ensure that all network technologies comply with industry standards and compliance (PCI, SOX, etc.) - Participate in Vendor evaluation, RFI/RFP support. Lab testing of new technologies, and decision support - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical training. *EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications*): - 8+ years experience in a medium to large enterprise network technical position. 3+ years of project management experience - Must have extensive experience building scalable, highly available, mission critical network infrastructures, - In depth knowledge of advanced *LAN/WAN/Voice/Wireless Technologies * - Extensive operational experience with *Cisco technologies, Firewalls, Routers, Switches*, Loads Balancers.
