*We are currently in the market for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer for our client in either San Francisco, CA or Charlotte, NC. This long-term contract position is working on a major online software upgrade project. Our client is an industry leader in Financial Services. Responsibilities include: Providing leadership and direction to less experienced developers on the team and ensuring timely delivery of projects is an important aspect of this position. Experience writing commercially-deployed PL/SQL code - 7+ years' application development and implementation experience. Proven strong coding expertise in PL/SQL, ideally Perl - Experience writing SQL queries in a high-volume OLTP environment. In-depth knowledge of Oracle and sqL tuning techniques Hands on working experience with Oracle database, SQL, UNIX shell scripting (PERL) with 5+ years of experience in building large and complex systems - Work experience in messaging/notifications applications and other web services/interfacing system.
