MUST HAVE: 2nd, 3rd level support, coming out of a Bank ecommerce, middleware a
plus!
Role -: Sr. Application Support Engineer
Location -: NYC
Duration -: 9+ months
Skills and Experience Requirements:
· At least 4 years of work experience preferably gained within a financial
organsation.
· In-depth Linux/Unix skills and experience.
· Solid scripting skills in Shell, PHP, Perl, or Python.
· Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale, highly resilient,
distributed eCommerce systems.
· Strong understanding of networking technologies, infrastructure and TCP/IP
protocols.
· Experience of middleware technologies (29West, MQ / Tibco RV & EMS / JMS,
Nirvana etc)
· Experience of automated deployment of applications into a highly distributed
Production environment.
· Exceptional analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership,
urgency, and drive.
· Flexible, hands-on, proactive approach to working.
Desirable Requirements:
· Expertise supporting Adobe CQ5 (formally Day CQ5) or similar content
management systems.
· Expertise supporting Adobe Flex
· Expertise using/supporting Adobe LiveCycle
· Expertise using/supporting Apache Cassandra
· Expertise using/supporting Attivio Active Intelligence Engine or similar
enterprise search engines.
· Expertise using BladeLogic or similar automated deployment and configuration
management tools.
· Expertise using monitoring systems preferably HP OpenView and Netcool
· Knowledge of Remedy and/or Service Now ticketing systems
· Oracle/Sybase - SQL knowledge
· ITIL knowledge and experience
