Job Responsibilities Requirements . Strong in data analysis and data profiling
. Very Strong in Oracle Database (SQL) - Experience in writing SQL queries for data
mining/data analysis and creating reports per business requirements · The Business
Data Analyst should be helping to improve business processes through investigation,
analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a data life cycle in terms of
business functions and processes. Must have strong understanding of health care
domain end to end Healthcare Payer business knowledge. · 7 years' experience as
a data analyst /business analyst with a minim of 3 years of work experience in
DW/BI/ODS applications · Through understanding of SDLC methodology both waterfall
and agile · Ability to understand data models (both relational /dimensional)
although background in data modeling is a huge plus · Should be able to
facilitate requirements in a group setting · Strong communication &
documentation skills (written and verbal) Activities · Develop the functional and
non- functional requirements specifications · Develop requirements- functional
and non-functional and establishing traceability matrices · Meet with business and
technical team members to identify/validate business rules (Working with the ETL
team lead, Data Architects, ETL architect) at least 6 -10 years experience as a
data analyst /business analyst , within the healthcare industry · Critical
communications role by interacting with users (business domain) and with developers
and testing personnel (technical domain) · Source to Target mapping document ·
Ability to perform data profiling using SQL . Should have experience in Source to
Target Mapping and documenting Business Rules/Use Cases
Rate Cap $50/hr
