Role -: Sr. Mainframe Developer Location -: Bentonville, AR Duration -: 8+ months Duties and Responsibilities: . Coordinates system changes with Customers and other system areas . Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Information Systems Division (ISD) infrastructure and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans . Develops and implements system solutions, within the guidelines identified in the Information Systems Development Life Cycle (ISDLC), that have high availability and scalability consistent with Customer needs . Develops team member capabilities . Ensures system performance . Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity . Participates in team tasks . Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions . z/OS experience in a parallel sysplex environment . General OS skills (TSO, SDSF, ISPF, etc.) . Experience with Compuware Strobe . ITIL Processes awareness and adhering to Handling incident tickets / change requests . Perform root cause analysis . Troubleshooting technical issues . Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to . Responsible for building / maintaining dev & staging environment . Assisting in Deployment Plans and Release Management . Installing patches/upgrades to maintain security level . Deployment/Upgrade of applications as and when required . Troubleshooting issues related to Application and Hosting . Perform performance tuning and maintenance for applications . Liaison with application development team and co-ordinate for bug fixes and application development issues Wish List: .
