*Job Title: Oracle Financials Functional Consultant*

*Duration: 1 yr. assignment*

*Location: Reston VA***

*Description:*

*5-6 years hands-on experience with Oracle transactional, financial, and
reporting systems and implementations, preferably in a high tech
environment, including 4-5 years of experience documenting and analyzing
business processes and developing functional application. *

*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
In-depth front-end functional knowledge of Oracle 11i General Ledger, Fixed
Assets, Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, iExpenses, Order Management,
Service Contracts, Credit Management, Receivables and** **Collections
applications** **is a must**.*

*Working knowledge of Oracle’s Inventory module, Integrated reporting tools
and 3rd party tools like Markview imaging tool and Sabrix a plus;
experience in Accounting and/or support of Accounting and Finance functions
a plus. *

*Experience with Hyperion Smart View and Financial Reporting, and/or
Interactive Reporting a plus. *

*Understanding of other non-Oracle financial products and external system
integration is a plus Solid understanding of transactional processing,
general accounting and finance functions, audit and SOX controls.*

*Demonstrated understanding of integrated best business processes in a
dynamic, high-tech environment, including the ability to work closely with
MIS technical resources to develop efficient and effective system
solutions. *

*This position will be the liaison between functional end-users and the IT
technical teams *

*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with
credibility at all levels of the organization. *

*Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the skills
and capabilities of his/her organization.*

*Description: *

*Act as frontline support to key business partners for transactional and
accounting systems and processes, including the troubleshooting of end user
queries through to resolution*

*Partner with IT to deliver financial and accounting transactional process
systems enhancements *

*This position will also participate in other support and development
efforts for process improvements and enhancements, related to our financial
system applications and reporting tools.*

*This position is expected to accurately and consistently anticipate
business needs (solutions, benchmarks, examples, best practices and out of
the box thinking) and effectively contribute this thinking to the business
partners.*

*Lead or assist with the management of cross functional support requests;
this includes the hands on testing and training as required to support
successful testings where applicable, and pre and post go live operation
support to end users and development groups  *

*Assist in development and provide adequate training, training
documentation and education to Accounting transactional operations teams
which support Accounting, Payables, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Order
Management, Service contract, Receivables, Collections and Credit
Management *

*Assist with the requirements and data validation of new reports within
Verisign’s reporting tools: Oracle 11i, Essbase / SmartView, interactive
Reporting and Oracle OBIA. *

*Assist with the development of reports for financial analysis, trending
and results analysis related to revenue and expenses using Oracle financial
applications*
