The candidate must have strong AS 400 experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with developers to identify data anomalies in the existing
tables to allow time to correct issue or make alternate arrangements
for the data
. Write and Review functional and technical specifications for
each phase of the migration process.
Document all table and column mappings from the existing
database to a newly designed database.
Responsible for supporting all test and production environments.
Document and determine security concerns within all database
environments.
DB2/400 Database Architect/Administrator supporting all test
and production environments
Desired Skills:
Data modeling tools: ErWin, Cayenne, Oracle Designer
Programming language and development tools: UDB, DB2/400, FoxPro,
Oracle, SQL, COBOL, RPG, JCL, CL, Query Manager, and iSeries
Navigator; GUI/400 and J Walk graphical user interface tools
