Job Description: Mandatory skills (please enter all mandatory skills customer
will look for) Infrastructure Project Manager - HP BSM Software Suite
Implementations.
Position Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful
completion of implementation projects at client sites. The Project Manager discuss
with various teams to understand the requirement, plans, schedules and controls
project activities related to successful enterprise implementations applying
technical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building
positive professional relationships with client & team. In addition to having
strong project management skills, candidates should be experienced managing
large-scale implementation projects while maintaining budget guidelines and must
have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Develop and manage to a detailed level project plan
· Plan staffing and request resources as appropriate
· Maintain issues log and work through Program escalation process
· Identify risks and recommend risk mitigation processes
· Identify and escalate scope issues within Program process
· Manage to Scope and follow established scope change process
· Collaborate with peers and other stakeholders
· Communicate effectively at all levels of the program and organization
Project Management Skills:
· Proven project management professional, with 5-8 years project
management experience and 10+ years work experience.
· Experience leading implementations in a complex environment.
· Experience coordinating work and schedules with other projects within
a program and with client's teams (Operations and IT) outside the program.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated decision-making and delegation abilities.
· Effectively establishes and maintains working relationships at all
levels.

· Success metrics
· Training plans
· Status reports
· Communications
· Acceptance criteria
Technical skills in several of the following HP Software mainstream
technologies:
· Server Automation
· HP Operations Orchestration,
· HP SiteScope,
· HP Business Availability Center (BAC),
· HP Operations Manager (OM/OMi),
· HP Service Manager
· Discovery and Dependency Mapping (DDM),
· Universal Change Management Database (uCMDB)
· Performance Manager (PM) and Agents
· Performance Insight (PI) and Report Packs
HP Software AIS or ASE certifications in above technologies is a plus.
Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture (web/application
servers, database platforms, management tools).
Strong technical expertise in mainstream operating systems (i.e. Unix, Linux,
and Windows Server platforms)
Strong technical computing architecture experience - servers, network and
storage.
Strong "best-practice" knowledge for application environments as it relates to
installation & configuration, deployment, backup & recovery and high-availability
configurations.
