Basis Upgrade specialist to join them!
Role -: SAP Basis Upgrade Consultant
Location: Woodcliff, NJ
Start date: 27 August 2012
Duration: 3 months +
Type: Contract
Rate: Open at this time, DOE
SAP Basis Upgrade Consultant
SAP version: ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0
OS/DB: Sun OS/ORACLE 10.2.0.4.0
Responsibility
Need to get the SAP objects modified by customer by SPDD/SPAU. Prepare the list
to Tech team to go for the latest changes.
Prepare the Custom Development objects and work with Tech Team which are
currently using and which are obsolete.
Identify the used and unused SAP Standard objects which are made modifications
by Customer
Upgrade Change Impact analysis - Identifies the impact that a support package
or upgrade will have any custom developments in the system.
Also;
1) Reviewing all the Transports which are ready to move to Quality and
Production.
2) Review all the UCC process before move it to Quality.
3) Review any new interfaces are required with SAP to Non SAP or other
systems. Try to leverage the existing setup otherwise work with the Technical
team for the new developments.
4) Do a system refresh from Production to Quality/Sand box/ Testing systems
periodically.
5) User Authorization and maintenance in production environment. [ case by
case users request for specific authorization to execute different SAP
Transactions, that requires Administrative setups
6) Manage all SAP servers, [ ECC,SRM,BW and SAP PI servers for DEV/QA/Prod
and Sand box systems]
7) Manage all the Share drives linked with SAP systems.
8) Closely work with ORACLE DBA's for any database related issues/cleaning up
activities.
