Function of the Position:
This is a key position in the Business Intelligence (BI) application
development team in Information Technology. The Business Intelligence
Developer will be heavily involved in the Oracle Enterprise Performance
Management system implementation at USP. This includes development and
deployment of OBIEE repositories, Oracle BI analytic applications, and
Hyperion applications.  This involvement will span the entire spectrum of
development and support activities from application design and deployment
to day-to-day support of the enterprise applications and users.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Translating and converting user requirements into Oracle EPM solutions of
Framework designs and packages for development
Developing  re-usable EPM frameworks and components such as logical layers
and  metadata mappings
Development of BI deliverables such as OBIEE RPDs, data integration
processes, and Multidimensional databases
Working closely with the test teams to complete BI development activities
and resolve defects, develop and unit test OBIEE repositories and
multidimensional databases, monitor and remediate System Integration and
Business

User Testing software issues
BI application change control management by performing Impact Analysis to
drive changes
Involvement in the design, development, and deployment of Essbase, Hyperion
planning, and FDM applications including high and low level design documents
Technical support of the user community by providing application
administration of rolled-out  BI application components
Development and performance improvements of complex queries

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, business
administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline. MBA or
equivalent master’s degree preferred. At least four years of experience in
OBIEE development, data analysis, and Business Intelligence. Demonstrated
involvement in end-to-end deployments of two of the following:  OBIEE
repositories, Oracle BI applications, Essbase databases, or data
warehousing preferably in an Oracle environment. Good understanding of at
least three of the following:  multi-dimensional analysis, Oracle BI
Applications (Financials or supply chain/Order management), MDX, DAC,
Informatica, and Hyperion Planning.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training & Experience:
Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) from
both a functional and technical perspective. Development and implementation
experience of OBIEE Repositories and BI Applications with expertise in
Essbase integration into OBIEE. Experience in OBIEE Administration and
Presentation Tools and OBIEE Delivers. Enterprise Business Intelligence
experience in financials, supply chain, order management, or sales/marketing.
OBIEE development in OBIA 7.9.x Financials and/or supply chain/order
management preferred. Understanding of Oracle EBS from a functional user
perspective a plus. Experience in Hyperion Planning, EPM Architect, Essbase
Analytics (BSO), Enterprise Analytics (ASO), or financial reporting a plus.
Experience with a business-to-business company in the manufacturing or
professional publishing sector preferred.  Excellent problem solving skills
with the ability to provide creative solutions.
