*Job Title : Network Admnistrator Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : 7 + Months Rate : $50/Hr on C2C* Configures and administers network switches, routers, access control devices, and wireless and monitoring platforms. Performs in-depth network services monitoring and troubleshooting. Evaluates and deploys new services and functions as needed. Serves as lead on network projects and participates in network infrastructure design. Installs software and hardware and configures servers and firewalls. Implements, maintains and documents security policies. Manages intrusion detection systems, internet monitoring, virus protection and other security initiatives. Tunes networks to ensure availability and performance standards are met. Creates and implements disaster recovery strategies. Supports email applications and spam management Maintain and support networking hardware and software, in particular Cisco Call Manager Express and Avaya CM systems. The candidate will evaluate, develop, and recommend specific network technology products and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements. Develop solutions and implement changes as necessary. Perform capacity planning and application analysis for network performance and sizing. Assess business and technology initiatives, providing consultation, technical support, and recommendations to optimally utilize the enterprise network infrastructure. Create and maintain support documentation and technical drawings of the enterprise network infrastructure. Provide customer service and training to end-users. Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery, creating preventative measures to deploy in the enterprise Research and design reference models to standardize network architecture and manage network life-cycle planning. 5 years of exp to include: 1. Voice network design and implementation (Cisco Call Manager) - Critical skill 2. Expertise in switching and routing platform configuration and administration (Cisco, Juniper) 3. Network Protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) 4. Network troubleshooting tools (NAM, OPNET, NetFlow, Wireshark, Sniffer) 5. Project leadership skills 7. Team focused 8.
