We have an urgent position we’re trying to staff, for a strong DW Developer, local to the Denver area. Please review the details below. Please only send candidates with STRONG HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE. *Start date: 9/10/12* Location: Denver, CO (needs to be local, no travel/expenses budget) Duration: Long Term (12 MONTHS OR MORE!) Title: Job Description: Under minimal supervision, designs and codes databases, tables, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports, Additionally performs database tuning, query and index optimizations. Writes database design documents including entity relationship diagrams (ERD's). Participates in designing and implementing data warehouse, business intelligence solutions, database server and database storage. Works closely with developers, analysts, and business users to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into refined, easy to use information tools and solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems, information management, or similar area preferred. Typically, 6-10 years experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of complex business intelligence solutions. Skills: Expertise with Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server 2008/2008R2, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Performance Point, Power Pivot, Share Point, Report Builder, and MDX. Other data warehousing and business intelligence skills desired: master data management, data modeling, hardware/software architecture, data cleansing and quality, dashboard and scorecard development, third-party reporting platforms, and performance tuning.
