Interview Will HIRE off the PHONE this week* *Job Description* *Responsibilities: The incumbent will be developing exciting new enhancements to our Business to Customer ATG ecommerce application . (The Senior ATG Developer is responsible for creation of applications or parts of applications as directed by the projects technical lead. This may also include other aspects of application development such as application deployment and configuration, database tuning and creation, or any other related activity that is necessary to the projects successful completion. Develop, design, and maintain ATG applications Configure and maintain systems related to applications under development Test and debug code; assist with QA when required Work with the development team, project manager, and account executives to achieve project goals Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedules coordinated with project managers Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedules coordinated with project managers Keep up to date on emerging technologies relevant to Verizon Wireless business* *Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies will be a plus. Experience and hands-on on one of the following products: Oracle ATG Commerce, Commerce Service Center (CSC), Endeca Experience Manager or Page Builder Development experience on an Oracle ATG platform is a major plus although experience in developing in any major, Java platform is also highly desirable Technology must have requirements: Experience developing in Java and working with HTML. Knowledge of XML/XSL/XSD Knowledge of Java thread and memory dumps and when to use them Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, RESTful) Understanding of build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, automated builds, continuous builds) Source control processes & tools (Perforce, Subversion, code branching) is a plus Experience working on system integrations (particularly third-party systems such as OMS, search, ERP, payment) Knowledge of system architecture, system sizing and/or J2EE components Strong Object Oriented skills - OOA/OOD/OOP Excellent troubleshooter with knowledge of troubleshooting tools, plug-ins.
