*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Job Title: Business Systems Analyst *w/ICD-10* Location: Salem, OR Duration: 6 months Client: State of OR Direct Client Position The purpose of this document is to define the scope and requirements needed to support the *ICD-10* project in completing the work. The scope of work that will be performed will includes; forward mapping ICD-9-CM Volume 1,2 &3 to *ICD-10*-CM and PCS codes using mapping tool, creation of excel documents to house maps, comparing and color coding data in two maps for similarities and the creation of one final map and miscellaneous document editing. DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, interpret and apply state and federal laws, rules as well as agency policies; evaluate for alignment with current policy strategies; recommend and formulate plans to change policy direction based on results of research for *ICD-10*/5010. Analyze policy issues that cross or affect other programs or state agencies; develop and implement proposals, policies and strategies to address issues affected by *ICD-10*/5010. Convene meetings to discuss possible legislation, administrative rules or policies affected by *ICD-10*/5010. Attend external and internal stakeholder groups in support of planning efforts and make presentations orally and in writing to address legislative and policy changes affected by *ICD-10*/5010. Integrate budgetary and operational data and analyze for alignment with overall policy strategies. Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of programs. Research, analyze and develop recommendations on policy strategies and legislative position to executive managers. Develop and/or supervise the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of program policies and procedures with appropriate internal staff, other state agencies, professional associations, branches, contractors and other affected stakeholder groups affected by *ICD-10*/5010. Act as authoritative resources in the areas of responsibility and their relationship to other agency policies and programs.
