Description of Responsibilities This position will work collaboratively with the StoreVision Platform (SVP) Quality Assurance and Implementation Team members to support the SVP application. Responsible for creating, preparing, and conducting quality assurance reviews and developing and executing test plans, test conditions and test scripts. Work with the Project and Quality Assurance Teams to resolve questions during the testing process. Functional knowledge of application will be used to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and resolving testing problems. Log, track, and verify resolution of application defects. Position Qualifications Required Minimum 3-5 years testing experience Client/Server Systems Testing Proficient with MSWord and Excel Use proven QA disciplines to create, prepare, and conduct quality assurance reviews as well as develop and execute test plans and scripts according to system design and requirements. Analyze, test, and certify application programs as well as perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications. Assess testing risk and offers options on appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure quality of code to production. Ability to build strong, functional relationships with team members Strong problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent detail, organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize, follow-up, and meet deadlines Handle multiple assignments Proficient in desktop hardware components Ability to troubleshoot internal and external components associated with a workstation Windows 7 desktop knowledge Preferred Experience – SVP Platform Experience in the Banking industry Experience with XML Experience with ClearQuest Experience with Hogan applications Experience with RUP Knowledge of Quality Center Knowledge of QuickTest Professional Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
