Requires experience in design, implementation and production activities associated with EDI transactions e.g. 834, 820, 270, 837, 276 with preference for 834 (Enrollment) and 820 (Premium Payment). Recent experience with 5010 implementation and other ongoing projects in the healthcare industry (ICD-10, National Healthcare Reform, Health Insurance Exchange) is preferred. Key Accountabilities: Analysis \ Design Works with internal and external business customers to elicit business requirements Collaborates with business partners to ensure current state business process and future state business requirements are fully developed and documented. Collaborate with other analysts and developers to translate requirements into functional specifications Follow established Waterfall or Agile SDLC processes for requirements through implementation. Uses structured techniques for analysis and requirements documentation; skilled in distinguishing requirements vs solutions; classifying/prioritizing requirements; requirements change management and traceability; identifying risks. Implementation Works closely with project managers to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget and meet business needs. Develops and documents functional requirements that translate business requirements associated with new and changing business capabilities into a technical solution.
