The Application developer (ASP.Net) will develop applications in ASP.Net and SSIS, particularly VB coding. This position will work independently with an analyst or with a team of developers, while working with JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL. The Application Developer (ASP.Net) will be headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:* · Work with team to complete software lifecycle activities for Enterprise Applications including custom developed internal applications. This includes Initiation, System Concept Development, Planning, Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration and Testing, Implementation, Operations & Maintenance and Disposition. · Maintain control management for all software lifecycle activities. · Adhere to and maintain development standards for all software lifecycle activities. · Understanding of legacy and new software and hardware technologies including best practices to implement optimum solutions and custom developed applications. · Version Control. · Issue Tracking. · Knowledge of Database administration of MS SQL databases. · Responsible for Development and designing the Architecture. · Lead the development effort. · Support Application development and upgrades. · Closely collaborate with Analyst and business users to gather requirement. · Desire to explore, prototype and recommend new and emerging technologies. · Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements *JOB QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: * · Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Minimum 4 years’ experience in ASP.Net Application Development with major Database MS SQL. · Application Developer- Skills Required - ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, LINQ, XML, Mobile Development technology, JavaScript. · SQL Server programming experience - Stored procedures, triggers, T-SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS. · Knowledge of Microsoft Reports (rdlc) and SQL Reporting. · Knowledge of Google Map API is a plus. · Fluency in English required. · Knowledge and experience in Mobile development platform is a plus · Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor. · Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation. · Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus. · Proficient using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel. · Have skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery. · Very high level of organizational and time management skills. · Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations. · Excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills. · Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required.* * · Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism.
