Performance Tuning Job Description: Client, Applications and Analytics team has been tasked with raising the importance of reporting, automation and analytics within the business. The applications development team has been struggling with keeping up with the demand for network performance and network quality reports. This team is responsible for developing these reports for US Cellular's executive level management. The main reason for bringing in an additional resource is because the current reports aren't performing quick enough and the design of the Dashboards and Cubes are not appealing to the stake holders in the company. All reports are written in Cognos 10. They are also being tasked with developing reports that can be accessed through mobile devices. They need these reports to focus on the most important information and to look nice so this person will be as much of a web developer who can write reports. Additional Information: 1. Agile rapid deployment approach to development required 2. Strong Oracle SQL Skills for advanced network performance data 3. Ability to performance tune Oracle SQL queries and reports to ensure fast rendering of reports, drill-downs, and queries. 4. Ability to build cubes, drill-down, aggregated data reports using supporting database technology. 5. Ability to build web dashboards for multi-dimensional, multi-regional, and strong visualization of data 6. Ability to develop in Cognos BI and dashboards 7.
