*Main responsibilities* - Provides architectural oversight for the development of moderately complex new and/or enhanced applications or products. - Integrates components built by application developers and/or programmers as needed. - Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of moderately complex hosting/configuration tools and methodologies to ensure that tools are current and functional. - Creates application architectures and populates application host/configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines and cost information to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness. - Coordinates with application developers, managers and customer application experts to ensure that required features and modifications are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features and to communicate architectural designs and standards. - Designs application modules that work together to produce desired product. - Ensures that completed modules provide functionality described by application experts and that performance guidelines are met *Additional Skills* - 3+ years in solution design. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Knowledge in Insurance required, (Casualty & property - plus) *Primary skills* - Java - J2EE - Websphere platform - JDK1.6 - JSF - Icefaces or RichFaces - JPA or Hibernate - EJB3 - WebServices - UML (Desired) - OOAD - Eclipse or RAD - Websphere Application Server - UDB - DB2 - Working familiarity with Mainframe CICS,CTG, COBOL/DB2, Natural/Adabas (desired), - Exposure to Insurance/Finance specific tools such as Blaze, Ratabase, Forms automation etc plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
