Local or Nearby candidates preferred *Length: 12 months Location: CA - Glendale* *Rate: $50/Hr on C2C * * Description: Position is for a Citrix Systems Administrator for a growing environment of XenApp 4.5 and 6.5, Windows Server 2003 & 2008 R2 Enterprise. This position will work with the Citrix team to migrate from Xenapp 4.5 to 6.5, and optimize, maintain and troubleshoot numerous Citrix environments and technologies. This includes a conversion to a fully virtual environment, utilizing Provisioning Services, Edgesight, and Citrix Profile Management. This position will need to be adept at customer service, working with application owners to install, troubleshoot and optimnize applications. Your challenges: Ability to provide Level 3 support on Citrix technologies, such as: • XenApp 4.5 - 6.5; • Provisioning services • Edgesight • Netscaler Candidate should have: Ability to work closely and efficiently with customers in a fast-paced environment Excellent trouble-shooting skills Ability to manage/support Citrix application builds & release cycles Ability to assist in the monitoring and optimization of Citrix Working knowledge of GPO's Working knowledge of VMware Working knowledge of scripting tools (ie: VB and Powershell) Ability to perform general server administration (ie: patching, upgrades, installs) Excellent time management skills Your team: Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic team that takes pride in their holistic, proactive approach to Citrix management.
