Should have a good background in MS SQL 2005 thru 2012. Should have experience with T-SQL as well. Qualified candidate should also have a good background in developing ETL interfaces, mainly using Informatica and SSIS. Should have the ability to analyze data models and structures and be able to improve upon them. Candidate must come from I.B. and should have exposure dealing with trade/reference data feeds. The candidate would be directly responsible for developing and supporting SQL server elements of the Falcon project. He/She should be able to work with minimal supervision and manage business expectations in a demanding global environment. Main Function An ideal candidate for this position needs to be very proactive, self-motivated and a proven team-player. He/She should also have a collaborative team-work approach, good work ethics and strong communication skills to ensure that client requirements are correctly translated into design Main Duties · Working with a team of SQL developers and business analysts responsible for implementing business requirements for the Falcon project, with main focus on core SQL/data objects. · Design of DB Schema, development of stored procedures, ensuring data validity and managing data flow to other downstream systems. · Design and develop ETL interfaces in SSIS/Informatica for providing daily extracts. · Analyze data quality issues and implement solutions to fix them in a systematic manner · Analyze data models / structures, suggest improvements etc so as to materialize the ability to successfully meet business information needs · Deliver projects in fast-paced environment and work with different technology and business groups to produce quality and timely solutions. · Provide level 3 support for the sales applications · Maintaining a SQL Server based trade processing warehouse and other reporting data warehouses.
