Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement.* * * *Job title: SAP BO Consultant* *Duration: Long Term* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA * * * * Required Skills: * • Convert Business requirements of Reporting into technical requirements • Understand the technical requirements • Prepare High level and Low level Design documents • Agree on development Standards • Develop/modify the components of Reporting using BO reporting tool • Conduct code reviews • Prepare Unit Test Specifications • Unit test the developed components • System test of the developed components • Complete tasks and deliverables assigned by the Designers • Technically sound. Hand-on experience on BO XI R3 / Crystal Reports / Xcelsius • Expert in designing and development of reports and Dashboards • Experience on BO SDK is desired. • Must have experience on any other ETL / OLAP tool other than Business Objects • Experience to Migrate One reporting Solution to other reporting solution(Like OBIEE to Business Objects etc) • Development of DWH (Star schema), reports, and dashboards • Performing change request management procedures • Ensuring user acceptance testing (UAT) is performed • Performing system administration, software configuration management, and database administration activities • Ensuring seamless availability of BI reports to the end-users and prompt closure of any issues encountered post move to production • Development services towards design and development of new reporting and analytics requirements from user departments *Desirable* • Innovative idea to increase user adoption. • Experienced in enterprise level data warehouse implementations • Strong process knowledge in design reviews, code reviews, code migration, version control and best practice standards in Reporting Environment • Able to assist in the development of project plans including the Work Breakdown, task estimates, milestone plan, and critical path in the Reporting domain. • Knowledgeable in meta-data methods, products and use. • Minimum of 3 years strong technology implementation experience with Bachelor*s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent. • 2-3 years in multiple full lifecycle DW implementation experience. • Understanding of industry best practices. • Experience with DW lifecycles and strong understanding of methodology / framework. • Team-oriented: Able to motivate and resolve conflicts. • Excellent verbal and written skills. • Extensive knowledge of Relational & Dimensional Modelling, Entity Relationships, Relational Databases, 3NF, Star and Snow Flake schema, Active Data Warehousing, Active Enterprise Intelligence. • Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems data a PLUS.
