UI Designer Location: Commerce, CA Duration: 12 Months Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills . Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs. . Experience with asynchronous web frameworks. . Have developed or supported operationally critical UI applications. . Development of custom web parts. . Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improving usability. . Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cross-browser compatibility issues . Keen eye for cutting edge imagery, layout, typography, color, and otherwise solid understanding of visual communication. . Knowledge of evolving Web standards, HTML5 + CSS3 . Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced and team-based environment . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. . Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines Roles and responsibility . Translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs. . Apply User Centered Design strategies to define, model, design and code intuitive, functional, and well-designed web and application interfaces. . Understand, analyze and provide recommendations for improvement of existing processes and process integration while translating Business/Department needs into features and customizations for their sites/Applications.
