*Description:* Client has launched the Customer Zone – a self-service
portal through which their largest customers can engage and transact with
the company. In order to support the continued growth of this highly
strategic and visible project, they are looking for a talented, innovative
and multi-disciplinary team to take this portal to the next level –
bringing new, value added functionality and services to our customers.
*SUMMARY: *The Customer Zone .NET Developer will have responsibility for
delivering and supporting applications written in .NET for the Customer
Zone Portal and related web applications.
*Specific responsibilities include:*
- Developing and deploying .NET applications for the Customer Zone
Portal and applications.
- Performing analysis and technical design and documentation as required
to support the application development process.
- Complying with clients IT standards, practices, methodologies, etc.
- Participating/facilitating team meetings.
- Participating in internal and customer demonstrations, feedback
sessions, etc.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*
- 85% Build and deliver Customer Zone functionality as required.
Collaborate with other team members to define and implement solutions.
Document and design new initiatives and processes as required.
- 10% Provide support to existing Customer Zone functionality.
- 5% Perform other duties as assigned
*REQUIRED COMPETENCIES*
- *Technical Skills*
v. Strong technical background in information technology
management; strong process knowledge of the systems development life cycle,
change management, code management.
v. .Net Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in
software analysis, design, development and unit testing of client/server
architecture and web-based applications using Microsoft technologies
v. Must have extensive experience with .NET framework
2.0/3.5/4.0
v. Extensive experience with C#.NET,ASP.NET, WCF, Design
Patterns, XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, SQL Server
database objects, SSRS, IIS
vi. Extensive experience building multi-tiered .NET web apps
v. Extensive experience building UI, web controls and client
based functionality
v. Good UI designs skills
v. Proven experience with unit testing tools and code review
activities
v. Extensive database experience specifically with Microsoft
SQL Server 2008 – Stored procedures, indexes, functions, SQL performance
tuning
v. Working knowledge of design tools like Visio, Expression
Blend
v. Working knowledge of ANTS Profiler and ReSharper tools
v. Working knowledge of SSIS, BizTalk, WebAPI, ERP
applications, or Help tools like Sandcastle is a plus
v. Experience working with TFS and Visual Studio 2010/2012
v. Experience working with various development methodologies
(Waterfall, Agile)
v. Strong application design and architecture concepts
