As a Pega Application Developer, you will create and review reusable processes, business rules, and data elements for Pega Rules Processor Commander (PRPC). PRPC is a Java-based development toolkit automating work processes across disparate operational teams. You will be a project team member delivering across the project life-cycle phases including: - understanding and developing technical requirements - designing PRPC components - construction and integration testing You will ensure that you adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards. Part of this role is reviewing existing code and providing analysis and recommendations on code enhancements/remediations. Responsibilities will include participating in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements, creating technical requirements, technical designs, coding, testing, for components used by other development teams. You'll provide project estimates and updates to project managers. You will learn and employ the coding standards to multiple Financial Services implementations when designing and building application workflows and create appropriate project documentation. You will debug application issues and provide 3rd level support for resolution of production issues.
