In this role you will convert all excel business models in Hyperion to SMARTVIEW. This will be an IT person that can do macros, VBA, etc. Qualified candidates we possess Cognos and TeraData expreience and skills. Business Intelligence Developer Summary: Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform, and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made. Technical person that has experience in Hyperion and SMARTVIEW/Oracle along with .Net and MS Excel knowledge. This is for an IT person that can do macros, VBA, etc …but also has some business sense. Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, MIS or related discipline Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems development and skills/platform/environment requested by management Cognos ESS Base IMS Oracle SQL TeraData Windows 2000 Business Intelligence Developer Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage one’s time Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models Knowledge of niche computer software, such as Oracle, CSharp.net, Lawson, etc Business Intelligence Developer Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees projects / products from inception to successful delivery. Provides technical leadership and responsibility for technical excellence on all projects/initiatives.
