*Catia Lead* *Location York, MI* *Start: ASAP* *Length: 11 months* *Rate open* *CATIA Administration Support for R&D Applications* Daily monitoring, troubleshooting & administration of R&D business applications including: - Functional knowledge of CATIA V5. - Staging / testing of CATIA V5 to complete upgrades, configuration updates, bug-fixes. - Configuration of CATIA external components (E.G. Plotter, printer, fileshare, Licensing Etc.) - Review issues and problems reported by users promptly, and implement agreed upon resolutions in agreed to timeframe. - Identify areas for improvement on a regular basis and propose resolutions. - Troubleshoot / diagnose all administrative CATIA V5 application issues. - Strong understanding of integrating CATIA V5 applications into site specific customized production environments. - Create and test deployment scripts, CATIA V5 application images and application patches, and deploy them locally and remotely. - Troubleshoot application issues. Work with end users and other support departments to define, reproduce and countermeasure issues. - Ability to create / maintain standardized processes. - Manage environment using Toyota’s Change Management Process. - Support emergency application changes or business requests. - Review, Create, Develop, Document and Maintain CAD/PDM Best Practices, Procedures & Methods. - Provide off-hours support as needed, both onsite & remotely. - Daily time management and accurate time reporting. - Minimum 3 years’ experience testing Catia V5 business functionality (e.g. part design, part interference, and modify part surface or material). - Minimum 3 years’ experience administrating CATIA V5 (including settings, plotting and licensing). - Lead responsibility for Catia release upgrade (e.g. R18 to R20) including deployment to workstations. - Additional experience with the following applications a plus CATIA V6/Pro-E, Zuken CR5000, DELMIA. - Must be a self-starter and be able to follow & enforce defined division processes. - Must work well within a diverse integrated team environment. - Excellent organization & time management skills in addition to a high level of problem solving and analysis. - Ensure exceptional customer service & support with prompt problem resolution & follow-up for local and remote end users. - Proficiency with Microsoft Visio document creation. · Experience with Remedy Help Desk ticket software and Planview is a plus, but not required.
