*Title:* *TFS Administrator* posted on 2013-07-09 12:56:54 *Job Description:* Seeking TFS ADMIN FOR END CLIENT located at (Lake Forest, CA) Send Resumes to ; [email protected] Rate : 50-55/hr ctc contract : 6 months plus Certification: Visual Studio 2010 Team Foundation Server, Administration certified candidates preferred Role Requirement: 1. Manage and administer the enterprise instance of Microsoft Team Foundation Server including software upgrades, user training, and continued education on best practices and knowledge of available features 2. Expertise in migration and upgrade process from TFS2010 to TFS2012 (preferred) or TFS2008 to TFS 2010 3. Create and implement source control branching strategies for multiple projects 4. Experience in Process Template customization (With C#/VB.Net Development Experience) 5. Installation of TFS on Windows servers, both single-server and multi-server configurations 6. Experience managing security for TFS components 7. Experience configuring and using Team Build, Test Manager 8. Experience managing project artifacts with TFS version control 9. Customization of Default TFS work item fields/ reports etc. 10. Experience in troubleshooting TFS Reporting service 11. Experience in Project wise backup and retrieval mechanism 12. Experience in Performing DR exercises 13. Extensive Experience writing Windows Batch Scripts , MSBuild Scripts, PowerShell Scripts. 14. Support change management in builds and deployment of code to test environments 15. Support change management and deployments for promotion of code to production environments 16. Support and maintain builds and deployments to Visual Studio Lab Management environments 17. Implement patches for TFS and Test Manager, as needed 18. Evaluate reporting needs and develop reports from the TFS data 19. Maintain documentation for TFS processes (CM Guide) 20. Exposure to MS SQL Server 21. TFS and Sharepoint backup skills experience 22. Experience in TFS proxy Implementation Bonus Skills: (Nice to Have for this Position) 1. Experience in Synergy, ClearCase 2. Knowledge of SQL Server Administration tasks 3. Knowledge of database backup/restore tasks 4. Ability to work with VMware setup and configuration 5.
