Location: Hillsboro, OR / Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 12- 18 Months Contract

Job Description:
Software Defined Networks
Primary Skill: LINUX
Other Skills: C; Device Driver Dev; Networking Protocols; Programming
Travel Required: ~20%
Telecommuting: limited (maybe 1 day/week possible)
Years of Experience & Expertise Level: 5 - 10 years
Daily Responsibilities:
Design, development and integration of Linux network stacks and modules.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
In depth knowledge of Linux
Proficient in C kernel level programming
Knowledge of Linux network drivers
Knowledge of routing software, e.g. Click modular SW router, a plus
Proficient in scripting languages (E.G. Ruby, Python, etc.)
Proficient with virtualized environment, e.g. KVM, to create, install and
configure VMs
Expected to develop extensions of Linux network driver, IP stack and
Intel's DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit)
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of Telecom Networks
