*Title: Sybase DBA* - *Rate: Keep it around $50/hr---- plus the candidate will h**ave to work in 1-9pm shift.* Location : Jersey City or Charlotte , NC 1. *POSITION DESCRIPTION: * This position is responsible for SYBASE DBA 1. *ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS: * This position reports to Database Manager and is a key position within the O&S group which is responsible for supporting ‘Aexeo’ 1. *PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: * 2. Support and monitor Production environments running on ASE 12.5.x/15.x 3. Work with Business groups to advise on performance tuning and support database environments 4. To work with vendor( Sybase) on troubleshooting cases. 1. *EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: * 2. Good knowledge of Sybase ASE 12.5.x/15.x on Unix environment . 3. Knowledge of Sybase replication server, shell scripting and Autosys required. 4. Experience of Sybase to Oracle Migration is a Plus. 5. Have to work in 1-9pm shift. 6.
