*Note : Must Be Local to TX Only.......!!!!! * *Job Title : VMware Engineer * *Location : Austin, TX* *Duration : 6+ Months Contract* * * *Job Description* Selected individuals will be required to work in a large VMware ESX environment will they will be the point of contact for remediation issues, upgrading firmware in HP Proliant severs (Generation H server – DL 380). Also on a daily basis they will be: running diagnostics, diagnose issues, Access iLO to re-boot servers, firmware updates, operational validation and reporting. Individual must have prior experience working in an enterprise environment. *Must-Haves: * 5-7 years working as a Senior Engineer in a VMware environment Heavy knowledge and experience working with VMware ESX Must have experience with HP Proliant severs (Also known as Generation H Sever/DL 380): be able to run diagnostics on servers, diagnose issues, access HP iLO to re-boot servers, firmware updates and daily reporting.
