*Job Description: *

Technology stack is LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Testing tools used:
QTP, bugzilla, SoapUI



*Responsibilities:*

·         They would be managing, growing and mentoring a team of 4 QA
Engineers.

·         Run the QA teams for both projects – one project is automated and
one project is manual

·         Will manage manual & automation engineers and projects

·         Attend stand up meeting, Iteration Planning, Tracking Project
Tasks and Deadlines, Functionally Certifying all of the teams stories
(enhancements)

·         Working collaboratively with integrated internal systems and
external parties.

·         Work with the mobile vendors doing end to end testing

·         Proactively manage automation roadmap and drive team towards
continual improvement of the automated regression testing suite

·         Collaboratively coordinates testing of program solution

·         Responsible for delivering iterative test results/progress

·         Responsible for platform environment validation throughout the
deployment process

·         Produces statistics and track metrics on QA testing against the
plan and drive improvement ideas based on those metrics

·         Proactively identify ways to improve quality of the platform

·         Support UAT activities with platform Business Analysts and
Business Owners

·         Supports enterprise teams for security and performance testing

·         Reviews business requirements with Business analysts

·         Collaborate with other Mobile platform QA leads and develop
testing  strategies to create consistent, repeatable thorough testing
processes through Mobile.

·         Continuously improve QA practices to improve team’s productivity
and product quality, including Agile practices



*Requirements*:

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

•             Experience in building, managing and leading QA teams

•             3+ years experience in leading Quality Assurance teams
driving implementation and maintenance of automation and manual testing
efforts

•             5+ years in Quality Assurance and working within software
industry in an Agile development environment building web based systems

•             Experience with cross-functional and remote teams for
delivering quality products on a tight schedule

•             Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical
coworkers and customers

•             Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, evolving environment

•             Experience with Agile

•             Wireless experience is a big plus
o � m n �� �� '>         Understanding of Various Software Platforms
including: Siteminder, WebFocus, Oracle db, SQL db, DB2 Connect, Sun
Identity Manager, and LDAP.

·         Experience with various network protocols and load balancing
algorithms, failover and clustering.

·         Experience with enterprise-level with significant security,
performance and high availability requirements

·         Working knowledge of production Web hosting environments is
required

·         UNIX and Shell Scripting (3 - 5 years)

·         Strong knowledge of  Solaris 10 administration

·         Strong knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS

·         Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting

·         Working knowledge of other Internet protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP,
Telnet, SMTP, SNMP)

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Ability to produce written documentation (procedures and work
instructions)

·         Knowledge of Perl, Korn, or Jython

·         Strong knowledge of a web products (SunOne, Apache, or IPlanet) –
3 yearsr

·         Ability to coach junior administrators, foster new talent

manager



General  requirements include extensive use of Microsoft Word; along with
potential use of Excel, Access, and/or PowerPoint if applicable.  Superior
verbal and written communication; attention to detail; and strong
organizational skills.

Experience in an ITIL environment is preferred.
