Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement. *Job Title: Lead Content Specialist* *Location: San Jose, CA * *Duration: 6-12+ Months* * * * * *Position Summary:* * * *Duties and Responsibilities:* - Plan, coordinate, and design images and elements for merchandising on the Samsung digital store. - Produce deliverables such as storyboards, templates, screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and prototypes. - Create and manage image design and deliverables for daily, weekly, and out of band release schedules. - Translate conceptual ideas into engaging visual presentations and design solutions. - Build and manage B2B marketing relations and execute joint visions for content providers and Samsung. - Facilitate project communication across a multidisciplinary team through all phases of projects. - Proactively identify issues, potential points of failure and make quick decision on ways to improve. - Coordinate with content merchandising managers and product management to execute merchandizing design strategy. - Occasional travel to partner locations, industry events & conferences etc. may be required. * * *Background and Experience Required:* * * - 5-7 years of experience in visual design. - Candidate must provide examples of work (ie/ Portfolio). - Strong control and familiarity with Internet and mobile environments. - Formal education in graphic design, digital design, or related field preferred. - Exceptional visual expertise, presentation skills, product knowledge, project management skills. - Experience with XML, HTML, Excel, and CMS tools a plus. - Command of leading design software applications, e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. - Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across projects. - Must be able to think both strategically and tactically. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in written & spoken Korean is highly desirable. - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive timelines. - Most notably weekly release schedules and seasonal promotions. - Good knowledge of MS Office environment. - Candidate must be a self starter and be able to prioritize work efforts and deliver results on schedule.
