*Role : Sr. Windows Admin Location: Jersey city,NJ Duration: 6 Months+ Detailed Job Description:* 10+ years of IT industry experience in windows, with 6 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 500+ Servers) Must be subject matter expert and have a minimum of 10+ years of Windows Server administration (Windows 2003/2008/2008R2) Solid understanding of Windows Server including Active Directory Troubleshooting Hardware, OS & AD related issues Experience in at least one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup Enterprise Backup technologies (e.g. TSM) Should have good communication and customer interaction skills. Perform Capacity Planning exercises Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance. Sound knowledge on Clustering – MSCS and NLB Working knowledge of HP Blade enclosure Working knowledge on VmWare . Knowledge on SCOM/SCCM is a plus Required Skills: Must be a strong team player and able to explain complex technical issues to less experienced audiences. Proven ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, subcontracting team and customers. Cover enterprise production operations as on-call, 24x7 support. Global exposure in large environments would be preferred. Good communication skills and team coordination.
