*Primary Responsibilities:* • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server and Stored procedures, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and C#/VB.NET, XML & XSD (Schema creation), .NET Services, IIS, TFS, NHibernate, and SFTP/certificate authentication. • Integration with outside groups (data exchange, services) • Ability to create and deliver data-driven reports • Ability to design, code and test new Windows and web software applications • Enhancing existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement • Maintaining existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects • Investigating and develop skills in new technologies • Ability to create technical specifications and test plans • Ability to create new and extend existing operational documentation • Ability to consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks • Ability to consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems • Ability to implement new software • Experience in system development and SDLC • Experience in developing dynamic web and database applications • Experience in Developer Express (Dev Express) Web Components for User Interface • Familiarity with AJAX Control Toolkit, ELMAH and Log4Net (for error logging) Object Relational Mapper (ORM) • Experience in configuring Internet Information Services (IIS) • Ability to resolve cross browser and cross platform compatibility issues • Experienced industry accepted security practices in application development • Ability to write system design and application code documentation • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and problem solving • Strong customer service skills. Must be customer focused and have experience managing customer expectations and facilitating problem resolution • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work on different applications • Ability to communicate well and work in a collaborative team environment • GUI design and implementation ASP.NET • For database must be able to add tables, modify tables, stored procedures, NHibernate access • Ability to build reports via querying the database • Experience in import/export data from vendors (XML, SFTP, Schema definitions) • Experience in managing state flow of the objects • Ability to interact with QTC and VES (outside vendors exchanging dta) • Running weekly standup with outside vendor QTC * * *Required Skills:* • 4+ years practical (hands-on) experience with Web application development using ASP.Net, C# and or VB.Net and SQL Server and Stored procedures, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#/VB.NET, XML & XSD (Schema creation), .NET Services, IIS, TFS, NHibernate and SFTP/certificate authentication. • 2-4 years practical (hands-on) experience with writing SQL Server stored procedures and functions using T-SQL • Experience in debugging Production issues and providing direction to the team.
