** *Title: Performance Tester* *Location : Scranton, PA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Job Description:* Health care is a huge plus 1)Experience Performance tester that has worked with automation tools. They have not identified a tool as of yet so any tool would be acceptable. 2)Strong analytical skills - Planning, strategy, script creation, execution, analysis of results/monitoring. Be able to determine where a failure point may exist. 3)Ability to work independently and add value to the team. Looking for someone who has the ability to make recommendations for optimization . Job Description: TMG Health is looking to build a team specifically to do performance testing. The candidate must have a strong technical testing background . TMG is all manual right now but in the future will be moving toward automation. Reviewing tools now. Candidate will be expected to be skilled in speaking with the Developers and understanding the technical specifications and technical architecture with the ability to build test scripts. * Experience with execution of SQL queries to retrieve, update, delete and manage data * Experience in quality assurance and testing of software * Experience in systems testing * Knowledge of healthcare claims and quality assurance methodologies and requirements gathering * Knowledge of Medicare business processes * Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills * PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel (2003/2007), and Exchange * Organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills * Experience working both independently and in a team environment Additional Information: Healthcare Experience would be a plus and preferred. Performance testing experience is also a plus. Must be able to work independently. Work Environment: Current testing team consists of a17 people. 5 of these have recently posted for other positions within TMG. Many of the team members have strong operational experience and they are looking to add some strong technical testers to the team.
