Sr. Software Developer- Java
*Reporting & Working Relationships:** *Reports directly to the Manager of
Application Development. Strong cross-functional relationships across the
organization, particularly with Information Technology, Operations, Sales,
and Marketing.

¡ Responsible for development and maintenance of assigned applications.
Work with technical leads and business partners to understand and shape
business requirements, design and implement solutions in line

¡ Able to work independently on concurrent phases of various projects,
including requirement analysis, design, build, test, implementation, and
maintenance. Work with the project management team, defining development
tasks, developing accurate work-effort estimates, identifying & resolving
issues and providing status. Contribute to the development of architecture
and design documents, user manuals, management reports and other technical
documentation.

¡ Ensure that proper application development methodology is followed for
qualitative, on-time project delivery. Must be able to interface with
end-user business and technology customers in an effective and positive
manner.

*QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (Minimum Needed To Begin In The Job)*
¡ Experience with Enterprise Application Development (Web, Desktop
development a plus)
o 7 yrs. Web Application Development
o 7 yrs. HTML, JavaScript, CSS
o 5 yrs. Software Development Languages (Java, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET,
C#)
o 5 yrs. Relational Database Management Systems (MS SQL Server, Oracle,
or similar)
o 3 yrs. Web Services or Software as a Service
¡ Experience in relational database design (tuning and administration a
plus)
¡ Experience with application performance & tuning
¡ Experience with data encryption and security
¡ Experience with OOA&D and SOA
