*Perform as a senior developer to participate on a fast paced development
team that is responsible for enhancing existing applications or creating
new applications.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Include education, skills, and experience.)

Skills and Experience:
• Five plus (5+) years experience in PowerBuilder required. Minimum version
11.5.
• Five plus (5+) years experience with Oracle or SQL Server, SQL and
PL/SQL.
• Two plus (2+) years experience with UNIX.
• Two plus (2+) in Mercury Interactive Products (Quality Center and
WinRunner)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to interact with individuals from various backgrounds
• Strong debugging/problem analysis capabilities.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle.
• Candidate should exhibit good organizational skills with sensitivity
towards priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with version control tools such as Subversion a plus
• Strong ability to define alternatives, make appropriate recommendations
and provide strategies for the resolution of environmental issues at the
platform, tool/utility and software levels
• Candidate should be well rounded such that they are able to act as the
requirements analyst, programmer, tester and implementer for small and
medium development efforts.
• Exposure to the methodologies such as RAD, JAD and Agile Project
Management
• Knowledge of the mortgage industry and Sarbanes-Oxley is a plus.

ACCOUNTABILITES: (List no more than ten statements, using precise action
verbs, that accurately describe the employee’s major tasks, duties, and
responsibilities. Jobs should be sequenced in a descending order based on
hours per week spent performing the task.)

Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs 25
Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and
programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and
fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems 5
Participate on a development team that develops and maintains financial
applications and responsible for providing production support (24 x 7) 5
Ensure appropriate security controls by segregating production security
access between the development and configuration teams 0
Must be able to evaluate customer requirements and transform those
requirements into technical specifications where appropriate 0
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written 0
Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies. Assist
information engineers on application of specialized knowledge to coding,
testing, implementation and documentation projects 0
