Job Title: Report Application Designer (Business Objects & Crystal Objects) Job Location: Rochester, MN Job Duration: 1 Year Job Description: · Candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and documentation of client-facing and internally facing reports. · Documentation includes but is not limited to: functional specifications, requirements, report design documents, and standard reporting procedures. · The candidate may also be asked to develop, create documentation for, and test Cubes, semantic layers, and data marts to aid in reporting. Additional expectations include providing 'best practice' expertise in data validation along with the ability to extend this knowledge via collaboration with IT teams. · This would include identifying validation gaps and defining long term solutions for closing those gaps. · During peak request months the candidate may be asked to generate and deliver standard reports, perform quality checks on reports, and investigate data issues or report discrepancies. · At times, it may also be necessary to collaborate with IT colleagues related to technical needs, issues, and projects; and interact with client-facing colleagues to understand and deliver on client needs. · Candidate must have a strong ability to think not only about the technical aspects of reporting and displaying information, but about how the lineage of the data can best be understood, utilized, and optimized to yield the best business results; · must be able to quickly orient to data from a variety of sources and products, synthesize it from multiple customers’ perspectives, and creatively suggest how to use and present the data for a variety of integrated purposes. *Skills* *Experience* *Required\Desired* Crystal Reports Required T-SQL Required WebI, Universe designer Required Xcelcius Required SSRS Required Requirement Gathering Required Experience in creating test plans/scenarios for data validation Required -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
