*Responsibilities:*
The selected candidate will provide for the development, creation and
documentation of Windows 8 images for all in-service models of desktop,
laptop and tablet computers in the enterprise. Candidate will adhere to
current build documentation for security policies and procedures.
**
**
*Qualifications:*
• Analysis of the Windows 8 operating system – including the implications
of the new cloud service dependencies, installation methods for the
Enterprise, installation
customization
• Integration, documentation and testing with client deployment, patching
and asset management tools
• Analysis of hardware support for range of desktops, laptops and tablets
in the enterprise
• Integration, documentation and testing with client AV and Encryption tools
• OS hardening – including analys
is, implementation, documentation and testing of elements such as GPO
• Vulnerability Assessments of the images
• Testing of all of base and core applications on Windows 8
• Prefer experience with using Microsoft MDT 2012 to build systems and
integrating Windows 8 with MDT
• Prefer familiarity with the changes / additional settings available via
GPO in Windows 8
• Must have good organizational and communication skills, written and oral
